MY WORK

Healthcare Innovator
-
Founder of MamAR App
I am developing an innovative health literacy app; MamAR, to empower pregnant and postnatal mothers with personalised, evidence-based support. I aim to bridge gaps in health literacy barriers for marginalised communities and ensure mothers feel informed and supported during this transformative time. The app was announced as a Winner of the 2024 UnLtd Award, recognising its transformative potential. -
Transforming Postnatal Care
I am creating a postnatal assessment tool to redefine the way postnatal appointments are conducted by introducing pre-appointment questionnaires via Accurx. This approach allows me to tailor each appointment to the mother’s specific concerns, making the experience more meaningful and patient-centred. I am also creating a database of inclusive postpartum support groups and networks, ensuring that all new mothers, regardless of ethnicity or cultural background, have access to essential resources and a supportive community. -
Strategic Leadership
As an Associate Non-Executive Director (NED) for the Kent and Medway Health and Social Care Partnership, my focus is on inspiring innovation, improving service delivery, and addressing the complex needs of patients requiring specialised mental health support.
